On August 15th-19th, the 2018 World Robot Contest was held in Beijing, and over 40,000 contestants from 16 countries attended the contest. In the contest, iRobotCNC Team from MSE, which was founded by Academician Ding Han and guided by Associate Prof. Zhao Huan, won the championship with an excellent score of 6710.
The World Robot Contest: Tri-Co Robot Challenge is the platform of NSFC’s Major Research Plan-- the research on the basic theory and key technology of Tri-Co Robot. The challenge takes “interactions with humans, robots and environment” as the theme, gathering innovation achievements of the Plan through various contests, thus providing a brand new platform of study, exhibition, communication and competing for universities and institutes in the field of Tri-Co Robots research.
